Site Update: 05 November 2005
Axiom offices
have moved to Caledon, Ontario approximately 25 minutes north of
Toronto's Pearson International Airport and 40 minutes north of
downtown Toronto. Our telephone number and email contact information
remains unchanged at 416.410.5697 and axiom@axiomca.com while our fax
number has changed to 905.584.6680. In addition to
standalone UPS equipment for computer systems, a propane-powered
emergency generator set backs up the main incoming power service
complete with transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS). Internet
access is achieved via 2-way highspeed wireless transmission with
firewall and UPS backup. What this means for our clients is that their
valuable project information is more secure and our systems are more
robust and reliable, reducing the possibility of losing data during
power outages or other atmospheric events compared to solely
grid-connected infrastructure. Axiom Engineering can operate "offline"
for over eight hours without external connections. Axiom Engineering Project Featured in Architectural News Online Magazine One of our projects has been recently featured in an international online architectural magazine for a 90,000 square foot addition / renovation project for a private school in Toronto, Ontario. This project encompassed direct/indirect lighting design, 1200amp power distribution satellite electrical room, emergency inverter power system, electric field shielding systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) systems to protect vital LAN equipment.
